A life in a day...
Our first show performed to a pre-recorded soundtrack. A life in a day...was an experiment with the scope and concept of the Box. A 24-hour day is squeezed into 4 minutes of action and routine. A stark contrast to the style and form of our first show, here we mainly employed live performers with limited props, mask and puppets.
B-Movie Monsters
Our first Black Box show, B-Movie Monsters was a fast-paced and fantastical journey through monster-movie history; from Godzilla to Plan-9 from Outer Space via The Mummy and Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. Played with live sound and a host of props, puppets and objects, only a few ‘live’ performers actually appeared in the action. 15 students were involved in this show, our largest single crew ever.
